Melissa M. Zdarstek, SHRM-CP is a human capital specialist. For nearly two decades, she has worked with organizations to hire, train and retain people that align with strategic business objectives.

 

Among her many roles, Melissa has served as a Human Resources Business Partner and Operational Leader for well-established, industry-leading businesses operating throughout the United States and internationally. 

Today, she consults with business leaders of emerging and established small to mid-sized companies to design streamlined infrastructures, working at a strategic level with the organization’s leaders to develop and maintain a competitive advantage.

 

Melissa uses her expertise and experience to help businesses optimize organizational structures and reporting relationships, align functional support teams with business imperatives, improve cross-functional collaboration and design effective people management strategies to enhance the value of each company's most valuable asset.

 

She is uniquely experienced in dealing with the dynamics of merger and acquisitions, serving as a facilitator to address regulatory compliance audits, interpersonal communications and relationships among and between management structures.

 

Melissa is passionate about community and education. She holds a SHRM California Labor Law HR specialty credential and SHRM-CP designation .  Melissa has also served as a member of the Adjunct Faculty for a private junior college, where she taught Human Resource Management and Leadership. In addition, Melissa was a member of the council for the (VIP) Valley Industry Partnership, Lyles College of Engineering, CSUF.  She received a Bachelor of Science in organizational management from the University of LaVerne, as well as having studied Enology at Fresno State University.
